Research question: Which propositions must be established to move from Matthew 16:18–19 to universal papal jurisdiction, and which are direct text versus added premises?

v57 deliberately refuses the shortcut “Peter → pope.” The chain is decomposed into independently auditable arrows so a later conclusion may survive only if each required premise has adequate evidence.

What this does not establish

That Cyprian originated Petrine ecclesiology.
That no pre-1870 source taught Roman primacy; v57 has not yet loaded the full historical chain.
That a later formulation is false merely because it is later.
That every dependency in Pastor Aeternus has been disproved; v57 exposes what still has to be demonstrated.
