Research library

Build research once. Reuse it everywhere.

The research foundation stores Scripture passages, word studies, textual variants/readings, sources, citations, manuscript evidence, historical context, archaeology, literary observations, intertextual relationships, attributed interpretations, Berean synthesis, media, and Evidence Catalog entities as separate reusable objects. Relationships connect them without flattening one evidence type into another.

Evidence boundary: Research relationships describe how records are connected; they do not upgrade lexical, manuscript, textual, historical, or interpretive evidence. In particular, REFERENCE_ONLY_NOT_ALIGNED_TO_GRCLXX remains reference-only, and edition readings are never silently upgraded into direct manuscript attestation.
Interpretive context

Evidence can disagree without being flattened.

Luke 15 demonstrates the typed interpretive layer built on the same research graph. The Codex distinguishes what the text directly says, what external historical evidence indicates, what an attributed scholar argues, and what the Codex currently synthesizes from the evidence.

Scripture saysDirect textual observations.
Historical evidence indicatesExternal/contextual evidence.
Scholar arguesAttributed serious interpretation.
Berean synthesisEvidence-weighted assessment that remains revisable.
Core rule: A famous scholar, tradition, moderator, or claimed spiritual impression cannot settle a textual question by authority alone. Claims must remain traceable to their evidence and counterevidence.
History of interpretation

Track the reader, the work, the tradition, and the evidence separately.

Interpreters, historical traditions or scholarly method families, interpretive works, and passage-specific reception records are kept as separate objects. The same passage can therefore show what Augustine, Calvin, modern literary scholars, and social-scientific interpreters argued without turning chronology or reputation into an authority score.

Separation rule: INTERPRETIVE_WORK is the intellectual work; SOURCE remains the provenance/rights/access endpoint. A primary source can prove what an interpreter wrote without proving the interpreter was right.
Interpretive Evidence Audit / Quality Gate

Every serious interpretation must show its work.

Active interpretive claims are audited for textual support, literary/contextual support, inferential distance, dependencies, counterevidence, strongest competing cases, and explicit limits. Reception-history records can be well documented without gaining automatic weight for original meaning.

Same rules for everybody: Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, Jewish, patristic, medieval, modern academic, evangelical, skeptical, or Berean-created claims do not receive evidence weight from the label on the interpreter.
Interpretation Dependency & Development

Show every premise between the text and the conclusion.

Dependency profiles map direct textual data, literary inference, historical/context models, social-scientific models, typological or allegorical expansion, later doctrinal premises, and rejected authority shortcuts. Development timelines compare premise changes without pretending the oldest curated witness is the historical origin of a view.

Chronology rule: “Earliest in the curated Codex corpus” never means “first in history.” Missing earlier evidence stays missing; it is not converted into an origin claim.
Research leads · not evidence

Lewis and Huff are tracked as research leads—with rights and evidence boundaries attached.

Wes Huff’s official lesson material is registered for claim extraction and underlying-source verification. C. S. Lewis is registered as a rights-aware research lead: metadata and lawful access are tracked, while substantial local hosting requires documented permission.

Doctrine / interpretation stress test

Matthew 16:18–19 — make every doctrinal arrow explicit.

This doctrine-ready stress test separates rock/Peter, keys, binding and loosing, succession, Rome, jurisdiction, and universal supremacy into individually auditable claims. Later doctrine is neither smuggled into Matthew nor rejected merely for being later.
